At KELAS FFY, we always say that learning a language is a journey. One of the students who truly shows this is Sera.
Sera started learning French with KELAS FFY when she was in primary school, in her 6th grade. At that time, she started from zero, beginning with “bonjour, merci, au revoir” level lessons.
Since then, she has continued learning with KELAS FFY once a week, step by step, all the way to B2 level. Even as her school schedule became busier and more demanding over the years, Sera stayed consistent and never skipped her lessons (sometimes rescheduled, but never missed). Her perseverance is something we truly admire.
Along the way, Sera also successfully passed the DELF exams up to level B1, an important milestone in her French learning journey and a great recognition of all the effort she has put into. She has continued studying with us until B2 level, although she has not yet taken the DELF B2 exam.
Now Sera is in 11th grade, almost at the door of university. Time has flown so fast. We have known her since primary school and now watching her grow into young adulthood. She dreams of continuing her university studies either in a francophone country or at one of the top universities in Indonesia, with her current goal being to enter a medicine faculty and become a doctor.
Her French skills surely will become a valuable advantage for her future. French is spoken in many countries and is widely used in international education, research, and global organizations. Whether she eventually studies abroad or in Indonesia, being able to speak French will open more opportunities and a wider perspective of the world.
But whatever path she eventually chooses (doctor or not, in Indonesia or in France) we believe she will achieve great things. That’s what matters most.
Let’s all wish Sera the very best for her future, because she truly deserves it, and we believe she will go far.
